Jarad Lee Muntz, age 37, of Hagerman, Idaho, passed away on January 5, 2019. Jarad was born in Kingman, Kansas on October 16, 1981 to Dennis Muntz and Kathleen Hammond. He graduated from high school in 2000 from Haviland High School and later attended Tulsa Welding School where he received his Master Welder Certificate in 2001.
Jarad accepted Christ as his Savior at age 11 and enjoyed sharing God’s word with others. He enjoyed welding, welding artwork, drawing, painting, collecting John Deere toys, music, scrapping in the desert, making rat rods, and spending time with family and friends - especially his dog and best friend, Cash. Jarad had a way with words, made it a goal to never leave a room if everyone in it didn’t have smile on their faces and had the biggest smile and blue eyes that could light any dim room. If you were lucky enough to get a hug from him, you knew it was the best!
Jarad is preceded in death by his grandparents Delpha and Veldon “Slim” Fuller and Leonard and Doris Muntz. He is survived by his mother Kathleen Hammond, father Dennis Muntz, sister Jade Hall and husband Matt, brothers Jason and Jimmy Muntz and wife Marissa, children Olivia and Jacob Muntz, aunt Lizzy and cousin Levi Fuller, aunt Debora Holmes and cousin’s Sarah and Ruth, uncle Alan Muntz and cousins Thayne, Gina and Mary and his faithful companion Cash.
Jarad is loved by many, but truly known by few. Those who had the opportunity to truly know Jarad will tell you, with Jarad’s passing, they lost one of the most genuine people they ever knew.
