Sue Walker

January 7, 1935 — December 9, 2018

Sue Walker, 83, of Kimberly, formerly of Salmon, passed away December 9, 2018 at Harmony Place Care Center in Kimberly.  She was born January 7, 1935 Logansport, Indiana to Beatrice and Robin Allen.  As a young girl she moved to Montana  with her parents  and bother Jerry.  She graduated from Columbia Falls Montana High School.

On May 26, 1954, she married Charles “Buck” Walker in Missoula, MT and spent the rest of her life supporting him in his logging and farming ventures, primarily in Missoula, MT and Salmon, ID.  In later years Sue and Buck relocated to Rupert, Idaho and operated a dairy farm until Buck’s health failed.  Sue has resided in Kimberly since his passing in 2005.

Sue’s greatest source of pride and accomplishment were her kids and grandkids, sacrificing her own needs for theirs her entire life.  Nothing made her happier than time spent travelling and supporting them in their endeavors, whether they be basketball games, rodeos, tennis matches, football games, track meets or cooking classes.  Whenever we were she found a way to be there for us and for that we will be forever grateful.

She was preceded in death by her husband Buck Walker, brother -  Jerry Allen, Son – Michael & Daughter Kelly.  She is survived by son Jim (Karen) Walker, grandchildren – Casey, Nick (Shelby) and Makenzie Ellsworth, Geoff (Marianne), Erik and Ali Walker, two great grandchildren – Charles (Charlie) Ellsworth and Ryatt Ellsworth, as well as her two “adopted” sons Randy Beaudry and Richard Talbert, who hold a special place in her and our  hearts.

Private family services will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are under the direction of Parke’s Magic Valley Funeral Home of Twin Falls.  Those who wish may share memories and condolences on her memorial page at www.magicvalleyfuneralhome.com
