Bonnie Lee Menzies

Our dear little sister Bonnie Lee Menzies went to her heavenly father Oct. 4, 2018.  She was 58.  That big heart of hers finally gave out.

Bonnie was born in Grove City, PA on June 21, 1960 on the first day of summer. 

Her parents were Dr. William C. Menzies and Jane D. Aiken Menzies.  She graduated from the Slippery Rock University Lab School.  She was a member of Tower United Presbyterian church until she moved to Idaho to live with her sister Kathy and brother-in-law Dave.

Bonnie loved her family, friends, her cat Mocha, her dogs and the Pittsburgh Steelers.  She never complained or said anything bad about anyone.  She was kind, sweet and compassionate. She was truly special to all that knew her and is sadly missed.

Bonnie was proceed in death by her father, mother, 2 nieces and a great nephew    She is survived by her sisters Linda L. Smith along with husband Sterling, of Murtaugh, ID;  Kathryn M. Patterson along with husband David John Patterson, also of Murtaugh, ID;   her brother William C. Menzies III and wife Jackie of Grove City, PA. Several nieces and nephew as well a great nieces and nephews. 

A private funeral service will be held in Grove City, PA on November 20th at 10am at Cunningham Funeral home in Grove City with Heidi Mikulin officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to your local private cat rescue.
