David Ray Montgomery

May 18, 1951 — August 8, 2018

David Montgomery, age 67, of Filer, Idaho, passed away at his favorite fishing hole. Located at Roseworth Reservoir on August 8th 2018.

Dave was born in Twin Falls, Idaho on May 18th 1951 to Ivan and Dora Montgomery. He graduated from Twin Falls High School in 1970. He later moved to Salt Lake City, Utah where he met and married Connie Lee Garner on June 18, 1976.

Dave recently retired after driving truck for 40 years. He was enjoying his lifetime passions of hunting, fishing, camping, cycling, swimming, and most of all spending time with his daughter and grandchildren.

Dave was predeceased by his beloved wife Connie in 1978. He is survived by his brother Dee Montgomery, daughters Cindy Cleveland, Sally Oney, son Steve Timmons, nine beautiful grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A private service and placement of ashes will be held amongst family. Dave will be remembered at Sunset Memorial Park next to his parents.
