Kari Anne Murri, age 36, of Hagerman, Idaho passed away on Monday July 16, 2018.
Kari was born in Twin Falls, Idaho on September 30, 1981 to Judy Secrest and Gary Murri. She attended Elementary School in Twin Falls and Hagerman, Idaho. She attended Middle School and High School in Hagerman, Idaho.
Kari was involved in many activities growing up. She was athletic and loved to play basketball, softball, and volleyball. She participated in 4H and FFA, where she learned about raising livestock, which led her in developing her love for livestock, and ranching. She was very accomplished and driven that led to many trophies and ribbons for her showmanship with said animals.
Kari has three handsome sons: Steven Lopes, Travis Lopes and Declan Lopes. Her boys were her biggest pride and joy. She loved to help them and watch them succeed in their endeavors.
Kari is survived by her three sons, Steven Lopes of Gooding, Travis Lopes of Gooding, Declan Lopes of Gooding; Her parents Judy (Mike) Secrest of Hagerman, Gary Murri (Sherry Jeff) of Twin Falls; Her Brothers Miles (Shawna) Murri of Twin Falls, Zane Murri of Boise; her Grand Mother Ilene Hagan of Hazelton; and a niece and nephew Alivia and Garrett Murri of Twin Falls; many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
Kari was preceded in death by her Grandfather Boyd Hagan of Hazelton, Grandfather Dean Murri of Kimberly, Grandmother Fae Murri of Kimberly; Aunt Donna Orr of Hazelton, Aunt Rhonda Yost of Wendell, Uncle Terry Hagemann of Hermiston, Oregon; Uncle Duane Hanson of Twin Falls, Idaho.
Kari’s service will be held at Parke’s Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Rd., Twin Falls, Idaho. Her Viewing for friends and family will be held Monday July 23rd from 5-8pm. Her Service will be held on Tuesday July 24th at 10am with a graveside ceremony to immediately following at the Hazelton Cemetery, 1980 E. 850 S., Hazelton, Idaho. There will be a dinner to for friends and family to follow at the Hazelton Presbyterian Church, 310 Park St., Hazelton, Idaho.
Kari has touched many lives and developed many friendships in her life, so the family asks that in lieu of sending flowers that you please make a donation or contribution to a Memorial Fund set up to help her boys; Steven, Travis and Declan Lopes at any First Federal Bank Branch, Kari Murri Memorial Fund.
