Virginia Moon Stone
January 13, 1920 - July 8, 2018
TWIN FALLS - Virginia Moon Stone was born Hiawath, Utah to Ruth Bishop Moon and Ed Moon. She was the second born child. She moved to Idaho when she was very young.
On June 29th 1936 She married Lawrence Wixom in Blackfoot Idaho. They had four children, Beverly, Eugene, Bill and Leslie. They were later divorced and she married Richard (Dick) Stone Sr. of Twin Falls. Richard and Virginia were married for 38 years. Dick passed away in 2010.
Virginia is survived by her sister, Betty Jean (Al) Browning of Concord, Calif, her children Beverly Bullock and Eugene (LaNora) Wixom, of Twin Falls, Bill (Marilyn) Wixom of Spokane Washington and Leslie (Teresa) Wixom of Blackfoot, Idaho. Also her stepdaughter Dana Etlin of Twin Falls. She has 22 grandchildren, multiple great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren. Virginia is also survived by two sixth generation grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Edith Reed, brothers, Bill Moon, Ed Moon and Floyd Robinson Jr. ,her stepchildren Richard Stone Jr. and Dee Stone. She is also preceded in death by both husbands, Lawrence Wixom and Richard Stone Sr..
She worked hard her whole life beginning when she was nine years old. She babysat to help feed the family. She worked at Kings, and in the Soda Fountain in Blackfoot, Id. She also worked at Hudson shoes, The Bon and Penny's in downtown Twin Falls. She cleaned homes for local families as well. She was always busy helping anyone she could.
Virginia was a loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Parke’s Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Rd. Twin Falls, Id. Visitation will be held 30 minutes prior to the service. Friends may also call at a visitation on Wednesday evening from 5 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Internment will take place at Twin Falls cemetery.
