Wanda Kober, age 86 of Twin falls, Idaho, passed away peacefully July 1, 2018 at Cenoma House in Twin Falls, Idaho.
Wanda was born in Mountain Grove, MO to Finis and Minnie Benton. At the age of 3, she moved to Jerome, Idaho with her family. She graduated from Jerome High School in 1951.
Wanda married Benjaman Kober July 28, 1951 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Jerome, Idaho. To this union were born three children Larry, Kenneth, and Nancy.
Ben and Wanda homesteaded their first farm in Rupert, Idaho in 1956, moved to Wendell to farm in 1966 and remained there until moving to Twin Falls in 1995.
Wanda enjoyed sending time with friends and family. She was a big supporter of youth in anyway she could.
Wanda is survived by her Son Ken (Jackie) Kober of Twin Falls, Idaho, her daughter Nancy (Galyn) Wadsworth of McCall, Idaho. Her brother Jim (Joeline) Benton of Stockton, California, her grandchildren Carrie, Ryan, Toby, Nick, Tasha, and Breanna and her great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Finis and Minnie Benton, husband Ben, her son Larry, her brother Johnny Benton, and her sisters Ilene Sheer and Marylou Mullen.
Services for Wanda will be held Saturday July 7, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Immanuel Lutheran Church 2055 Filer Ave. East Twin Falls with Pastor Roger Sedlmayr officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be sent to Immanuel Lutheran Youth Group - National Youth Gathering.
The family wishes to express their special thanks to Cenoma House for their kind care of Wanda the last two years.
