Clarence Newton Brown

Clarence Newton Brown, age 82, of Twin falls, Idaho passed away June 2, 2018, at St. Luke’s Magic Valley Hospital from complications due to pneumonia. He had been ill for 2 months.

Clarence was born in Monroe, Michigan on February 28, 1936, to Francis and Madonna (Parks) Brown.

Clarence served in the United States Army from August 30, 1954 until his Honorable Discharge on August 29, 1957.  He was stationed in Korea.

Clarence met his wife Nellie Stephens through a friend. They were married on October, 26, 1985 in Twin Falls, Idaho.

He loved to fish and spend time with his family. He worked at Cactus Pete’s in Jackpot, Nevada as a RV Park Supervisor and Courtesy Van Driver for many years. He loved to meet new people.

Clarence was preceded in death by his parents, Francis (Clara Middaugh) Brown, Madonna (Jim) Barnes, his brothers, Conrad W. Brown, Richard W. Brown, and his first wife, Alda Jean (Laudenslager) Brown

He is survived by his wife Nellie Brown, his sister, Janice DeCuir of Utah, his children, Beverly (Tim) Bunge of Indiana, Nancy Dennis of Florida, Crystal (Kenneth) Terry of Jerome,  Jodi (Mark) Rehburg of California, Kelly (Mia) Stephens of Twin Falls, Lynn (Barbara) Stephens of Twin Falls, Blaine (Cindy) Stephens of Jerome, Tracy Stephens of Montana, Terry Cowart of California, Julia (Richard) Leytham of Twin Falls and multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A viewing will be held for friends and family on Sunday, June 24, 2018, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Parke’s Magic Valley Funeral Home, Twin Falls, Idaho.

A memorial service will also be held at Parke’s Magic Valley Funeral Home, Twin Falls, Idaho on Monday, June 25th, 2018, at 2:00 p.m.  Graveside military honors will be held immediately following the service at the Magic Valley Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Hansen, Idaho.
