Mary Haye

March 27, 1920 — March 21, 2018

Mary Florence Haye, 98 years of age, of Twin Falls, Idaho passed away March 21, 2018 at Bridgeview Estates Life Care Center. 

Mary was born in Carrs Settlement, Mason County, Michigan, March 27, 1920.  She was born to Mary Angeline Floyd, from West Virginia, and Herbert Carpenter Osborn, from Newaygo, Michigan.  Mary Florence Osborn and Stanley V. Haye Sr. were married Oct. 16, 1937 in Ellensburg, Washington.  This marriage was dissolved in 1971.  Mary was preceded in death by three sisters, Helen Osborn-Lowe, Ida Mae Osborn-Yadon, and Jane Osborn-Wolf, four brothers, Harold Osborn, William Osborn, Deward Osborn, and Daniel Osborn.  As well as one granddaughter, Lace Mary Haye in 2007. 

Mary is survived by one son, Stanley V. Haye Jr. and daughter-in-law Patricia Haye.  Grandchildren, Stan V. Hay III(Diana Lincoln-Haye) of Eagle, Idaho, Gerald F. Haye Sr. (Debbie Haye) of Filer, Idaho, Patricia Luanne Persinger of Twin Falls, and Patrick Michael Haye of Spring Creek, Nevada.  several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews.  Mary was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother.  She baby sat many of these children even into her 90th year.  Mary and Ralph Eaton were married April 3, 1971 and the marriage was later dissolved.  

Mary resided in Twin Falls, Idaho for 48 years.  Prior to living here she lived and worked in the Yakima Valley, Grandview and Colville, Washington areas, Ely, Nevada and Anchorage, Alaska.  

Mary enjoyed hand work through crochet.  She made many doilies, and beautiful crochet Afghans for grandchildren and family members throughout her life.  Her early careers were as a cashier for several grocery stores, a meat wrapper at Fort Richardson in Alaska, a clerk for Hallmark Cards, a cashier for Williams Gorcery Store in Twin Falls and Filer, Idaho.  In her later years Mary worked as a companion for the office on aging with the residence at Woodstone Assisted Living.  She was a member of the Heritage Alliance Church of Twin falls, Idaho. 

Interment was conducted by Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home at Twin Falls Cemetery.  A service with a Celebration of Mary's Life will be held at a later date.
