Robert Pond Hill Sr, 84, of Twin Falls, Idaho, Succumbed to cancer March 9, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family.
Bob is survived by his wife, Connie Sue of 64 years, daughters Merrissa Engelhart, Gayle Jacobsen, Niki Hranac, son Robert Jr. (Bonnie) Hill, brother Richard (Ray Annis) Hill, sister-in-law Dian Hill, 14 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, and loving nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Bob was a loving father, husband, grandpa, and friend to all. Bob met the love of his life, Connie, at Buhl High School where he graduated in 1951. They were sweethearts to the day he passed away.
After Bob’s commitment with the Navy, Bob farmed in Idaho, drove truck in California and Utah, then retired from Cactus Pete’s engineering in 2001.
Bob enjoyed the great outdoors. He was a big history buff with the Oregon Trail being his favorite. When he wasn’t riding or working on his Harley Davidson, he was camping and fishing and talking Oregon Trail tidbits.
He is proceeded in death by his parents Jeff and Leah Hill, Brother Winfield Hill, Sister Neta Moe, brother-in-law Jerome Moe.
