Raymond Swanson

Raymond L. Swanson, age 78, passed away at Oak Creek Rehabilitation Center in Kimberly, Idaho on March 4, 2018. 

Ray was born in Twin Falls, Idaho to Edgar and Libby (Statsny) Swanson February 20, 1940.  He grow up in California and in his adult life he pursued careers in trucking and roofing.   At one point he went to Portland, Oregon to help with his son's business but returned to his birthplace due to health issues.  He always loved the Magic Valley and it's proximity to Jackpot.  Ray loved to play the slots!   

Ray is survived by his son Jeff Swanson of Portland, Oregon, daughter Cheryl Swanson of Tucson, Arizona, six beautiful grandchildren, brother Doug Swanson of Florissant, Colorado, sister Norma (Swanson) Foster of Kimberly, Idaho.

There will be no funeral service at this time but we will celebrate his live in July 2018 at the Stastny Family Reunion.
