Clifford L. Lemmons, age 97, went home to be with Jesus, surrounded by his family, on February 15, 2018.
He was born in Ashgrove, Kansas on June 2, 1920 to Glenn and Lenora Lemmons. Clifford quit school at an early age and left home to work.
Clifford was introduced to his future wife, Betty, by his brother, Wendell. Clifford soon proposed to her at the Buhl City Park standing on the park bridge and they were married two weeks later on December 11, 1941. A few months later he was inducted into the Army and served his country until discharged in 1945.
He loved his occupation as a bee keeper and even after his retirement was asked to raise queen bees for bee keepers in the Nampa area.
Clifford was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Betty, and two grandsons. He is survived by his Daughter - Connie (Joe) Butler of Filer, Idaho, sons - Wilbur (Robin) of Filer, Idaho, Dale (Kathy) of Kennewick, Washington, 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
A celebration of life service will be held at Calvary Assembly of God, Buhl, Idaho, 110 Fruitland Avenue on February 23, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. Friends may call at a visitation at Parke’s Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Rd, Twin Falls, from 5 – 7 P.M. on Thursday, February 22, 2018.
