Geneva May Fear, 87, of Twin Falls, Idaho passed away from natural causes at her home on February 15, 2018. Her husband, Brian, was by her side. Geneva was born Geneva May Keesee on September 25, 1930 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to Ray Herbert Keesee of Texas and Alva (Coke) Keesee of Arkansas. She graduated from Shawnee High School.
Geneva met and married Raymond Leon Danel on July 30, 1949 and together the couple had five children; Ray, Geneva Lee, Linda, Brenda, and Richard Danel. After 26 years of marriage, Raymond Danel passed away on December 7, 1975. Geneva subsequently met and married Brian Fear on September 28, 1978 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Geneva cherished her children and was a loving and attentive stay-at-home mom. She always had a smile on her face, was welcoming to all visitors, and was particularly fond of her grand and great-grand children. Geneva met and received the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior in the early 1960's and walked with Him throughout the remainder of her life. She was member of First Southern Baptist Church of Twin Falls for 23 years. Geneva loved cooking, sewing, and crafts and was very particular about the quality of her cheesecake. She was a kind and generous person who loved her husband dearly. She never lost the opportunity nor grew tired of joyriding with Brian in their 1957 Ford. Although Geneva was a voracious reader, family time around games of domino's, playing cards, and cribbage were a priority for her.
Geneva was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Danel, her grandchildren Ricky Brobst and Gary Patton, and husband, Raymond Leon Danel. She is survived by her husband, Brian Matthew Fear, her four children, Ray Danel, Geneva Powell, Brenda Danel, Richard Danel, ten grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
