Pamela Petty

TWIN FALLS, IDAHO - Pamela Marie Petty, 62, of Burley, ID went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on December 25,2017 at 7:20 p.m. at St. Luke’s Hospital in Twin Falls.

Pam was born October 9, 1955, in Carbondale, IL to James and Joann (Kerwath) Cecil.

She married Rod Petty on August 1,2015 in Burley.

Pam had worked for 27 years as a NICU Nurse in St. Paul, MN. Pam had been a member of Saint Stephanus Lutheran Church in St. Paul for many years until she moved to Burley in 2006 where she later joined Zion Lutheran Church. She was a member of Lutheran’s For Life and Lutheran Women's Missionary League.

Pam had an infectious laugh and smile and she made friends easily, never meeting a stranger. Pam loved bowling, playing board games, singing, road trips, laughing and visiting with friends and family and most of all she loved her Viking’s football.

Pam is survived by her husband, Rod of Burley; Son, Jonathan (Christa) Roach of Tampa, FL; Daughters, Wendy Curtis of Woodbury, MN and Kristen (Joe) Rivera of West St. Paul, MN; her ex-husband, Richard (Shirleen) Roach; grandchildren, Austin Roach, Genevieve Curtis, Logan Curtis and Brayden Curtis; brother, Steve (Barbara) Cecil of Sarona, WI; sister, Linda (Bruce) Cox of Goreville, IL; nephews, David (Kristin) Cecil, Brett (Kendra) Cecil, Bradley (Ashley) Reach; nieces, Laura(Josh) Fischer, Rachel (Mike) Crow, Latisha (Michael) Dunning and Lindsey (Clint) Lacy, Melissa (Randy) Laird; aunts, Ludine Chamness, Jenny (Ray) Crawshaw, Rachel Moore, Ann Watson; uncle, Louie (Judy) Cecil along with a host of cousins and friends including her special friend, Jackie Spiess.

She is preceded in death by her parents and second husband, Bob Ives.

Pam's wishes were to be cremated and there will be a Memorial Service at Zion Lutheran Church in Burley, ID on Friday, the 29th of December, 2017 at 10:00 A.M.. A Memorial Service will also be held at Saint Stephanus Lutheran Church sometime in January 2018. Burial will be at a later date in Carbondale, IL.
