Billie M. Dobson, age 77, passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at the Desert Rose Retirement Estates in Twin Falls, Idaho. She was born on September 30, 1940 in Garden City, Kansas, the daughter of Shelby Coleman and Mary Margaret Lewis. She graduated from the Scott Community High School in 1959. A resident of Twin Falls, Idaho moving from Scott City, Kansas in 1985, she was a wife and homemaker for 57 years.
On July 16, 1960 she married William A. Dobson III in California. She enjoyed fishing and hunting with her husband throughout their marriage.
Billie had a special way of touching other people’s lives. She passionate about her physical health and pursued it with her usual determination. She was a loving and supportive wife, mother and friend.
Billie was an active member of the Eastside Baptist Church in Twin Falls, Idaho and a former member of the Immanuel Baptist Church in Scott City, Kansas. She was devout with her church attendance, Bible study and praying for others. She was motivated to take care of herself being physically active and concerned about nutrition.
Billie is survived by her husband – William A. Dobson III of Twin Falls, Idaho, One daughter – Mary Mashelle Barnes of Twin Falls, Idaho, One son – William A. Dobson IV of Twin Falls, Idaho, One sister – Beverly G. Witherspoon (Cliff Witherspoon) of Buhl, Idaho, One grandson – Jerrod S. Siver of Twin Falls, Idaho, One granddaughter – Jessica D. Winn (Adam Winn) of Filer, Idaho, six great grandchildren and many loving friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
A celebration of Billie’s life will be held at the Eastside Baptist Church in Twin Falls, Idaho on Friday, December 8, 2017 at 11 a.m. with Paul Thompson presiding.
