Loyd J. Johnson

Loyd Junior Johnson (JL), age 68, of Jerome Idaho, passed away at home with his family on November 06, 2017, of complications from COPD and emphysema.

Loyd was born in Harrison Arkansas on October 06, 1949 to Loyd Daniel and Tressie Johnson. He was drafted into the Army in 1967 to Fort Polk Louisiana, where he was medically discharged. 

Loyd loved to ride his 2015 SYM Symba scooter all over the city of Jerome. He had a lifelong love of cooking and working on cars or anything with a motor.  He loved spending all the time he could with his granddaughter Lydia Rallison, they were the best of friends and were always together.

Loyd is survived by his partner in crime and his best friend Doris Johnson of Jerome, his sister Shirley Underdown of Arkansas, youngest daughter Trinittina Johnson of Jerome, middle daughter Kristy Leek of Arkansas, several beautiful grandchildren, and two wonderful sons that he raised as his own Rodney and Dean Smith. 

A celebration of life will be held at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home on November 21, 2017 at 5:00pm.
