Shirley Ann Sheets

Shirley Ann Sheets, age 77, of Twin Falls, Idaho, passed away at home with her loving husband by her side on October 28, 2017, of natural causes.

Shirley was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho on July11, 1940 to Kirby and Mildred Newman. Shirley attended Twin Falls High School. Shirley met her future husband Rollie A. Sheets while living in Mountain Home, Idaho, Rollie was stationed at Mountain Home Air Force Base in Mountain Home, Idaho. Rollie and Shirley married on September 11, 1959 in Mountain Home, Idaho and shortly after moved to San Antonio, Texas.

Shirley was an avid bowler and loved to fish for catfish in the many lakes and rivers down in Texas while their family flourished. Shirley started her own restaurant business in San Antonio, Texas which led to a second successful restaurant, before finally retiring to her home state of Idaho. Where she lived the rest of her life surrounded by many friends and family members.

Shirley was preceded in death by six brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her loving husband Rollie Sheets, and her four loving sons James D. Sheets from San Antonio, Texas, Ronald K. Sheets from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Richard A. Sheets and Steven R. Sheets both from Twin Falls, Idaho. She is survived by three brothers Don Newman from Twin Falls, Idaho, Raymond Newman from Kaysville, Utah, and John Newman from Boise, Idaho. She is also survived by two sisters Barbara C. Jensen from Ajijic, Mexico Debbie Maxfield from Twin Falls, Idaho, and many nieces, nephews, with sixteen grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A celebration of life memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Rd. in Twin Falls, Idaho.   Those who wish may view her full obituary and share memories on her memorial page at www.magicvalleyfuneralhome.com.
