Shanna Lee Rector

Shanna Lee Anderson Rector 57, passed away from natural causes on Sunday morning, September 24, 2017.  Shanna was born April 19, 1960 to Ariel Gustav Anderson and Alberta Mae Anderson in Burley, Idaho.

Shanna worked for Simplots Potato Processing early in her career and then became a homemaker in order to spend more time with her children.  She loved to help her children with their homework even when her children could think of a million better things they could be doing.  Shanna thought education was very important no matter if the education came from a school, a book, an experiment, watching life or even pulling machines apart.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and being creative such as with writing, drawing and other artistic ventures.  She was able to look at anything and recreate it with a flair that few artist could ever achieve in their lifetime.  Shanna enjoyed creating cards during any holiday season for the people that she loved and would not hesitate to make a perfect artistic rendering whenever the mood hit her.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Todd Anderson.  Shanna is survived by her ex-husband Timothy Rector, their two sons, Justin Rector (Michelle) and Aaron Rector, and her beloved sister Jaynee McCarroll.  Shanna has three rambunctious grandsons, one amazing granddaughter, many neices and newphews and even some great-neices and great-nephews.

Shanna and her family would like to thank Woodstone Assisted Living and their staff for their love and care.  Shanna will be sorely missed by everyone who had the fortune of getting to know her.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday September 30, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Rd, Twin Falls, ID 83301.
