John Anthony Wallis (ole' Blue) was born on 9-11-1944 and passed away on 9-24-2017.
John grew up on the family farm in the Curry area between Twin Falls and Filer, he loved farming and working on the equipment, vehicles, anything with an engine, he could fix just about anything. He served time in the Army after he got out of high school.
He then went on to marry and have a son (Tony Wallis). They divorced and he later re-married and had a daughter (Katherine Wallis). He has one grandson, (Allen Wallis), and two great grandsons, (Aidyn and Landyn), who he loved spending time with, as well as many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Blue spent most of his life on the road, either truck driving or riding his Harley Davidson. He made a lot of friends along the way, most of them knew him as "Ole' Blue".
He always had a story to tell, he had a heart of gold and loved people. He will be missed. Rest in peace and God bless you on your journey.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, October 2, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at the Twin Falls Cemetery.
