Kevin Lent, aged 55 of Twin Falls, passed away in the presence of immediate family at St.
Luke's Magic Valley Medical Center on Sept. 6, 2017.
Kevin was born in Twin Falls, Idaho June 29, 1962, to parents Karen Goodwin Lent and
Lloyd Lent. Kevin attended and graduated from Twin Falls High.
February 28, 1998, Kevin asked Jennifer Lang to marry him. July 5, 2009, they made it
official in the presence of family and loved ones at the Methodist church in Kimberly Idaho.
Kevin worked at George K’s during his youth where he discovered his love for cooking.
After high school, Kevin went to work at Pepsi as a route driver/salesman until he became
disabled. Later in life, he worked part time at Target. The rest of his time was spent being a
father and partner in life with his wife/best friend and his sons.
Kevin enjoyed playing chess, pool, going to the movies (popcorn required), “all you can
eat” football Sunday traditions, traveling, and spending time with his family and pets. Kevin
had a strong sense of humor; he enjoyed giving his nurses a bad time and telling bad jokes.
Kevin is survived by wife Jennifer Lang and pet Weimaraner, Bailey. Two adult sons,
Camron Lent of Phoenix Arizona, and Alex Lent of Twin Falls Idaho. Mother and Father Karen
and Lloyd Lent of Twin Falls. Brothers William Lent (Amy Lent) of Twin Falls, and Randal Lent
of Kimberly.
A celebration of life will be held at Parke’s Magic Valley Funeral home in Twin Falls, on
Sept. 10, 2017 at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Twin
Falls Humane Society.
