Mildred Rose Esquivel

March 25, 1927 — September 7, 2017

Join us in celebrating the long life of Mildred Rose Esquivel, who passed away on September 7th. Rose was born in Oroville CA. Her father Maroni Jacob DeGraw and mother Mable Alice VanNatta welcomed their 9th of 10 children on March 25th 1927. Before Rose’s 10th birthday the family would move to Jerome Idaho, where she would spend the rest of her life in the magic Valley.

Rose worked for Idaho Frozen Foods and Roger Brother’s Seed in Twin Falls. She loved growing trees and was known for her beautiful flower gardens that emphasized her favorite flower and name sake, red roses. She loved country music, walks to the store with her grandkids for candy, camping and logging with family at pole creek, and visits to church.

Rose had 2 children; Rose Marie Wall and Robert Alan Esquivel. In her lifetime she was loved by 2 kids, 9 grandkids, 25 great grandkids, 14 great great grandkids, and 3 great great great grandkids. She was preceded in death by her daughter Rose Marie; and her brothers Albert, Alvin, John, and David; and her sisters Larena, Oma, May, and Fern. She is survived by her son Alan, and younger sister Josie Miller.

Thanks to Creekside Residential Care Center in Jerome for the care provided to Rose. Rose’s Service is Monday September 25th at 2:00 PM, at Parke’s Magic Valley Funeral Home in Twin Falls. The address is 2551 Kimberly Rd, Twin Falls, ID 83301. There will be no graveside service.
