Dora A. Perkes, 75, of Blackfoot, passed away July 28, 2017 at Woodstone Retirement Center in Twin Falls. She was born on January 9, 1942 in Fairplay, Missouri. The daughter of Fernan and Mary Anderson. Dora worked as a waitress and cleaning houses. She loved spending time with her family. She loved fishing and especially eating the catches that she gained. Surviving are her children – Patricia Olsen of Blackfoot, Idaho Parley R. Perkes of Nampa, Idaho, Peggy Fajardo of Richfield, Idaho, Perry R. Perkes of Springville, Utah, and Peter Perkes of Monroe, Oregon, sister – Norma and Brother – David, along with eleven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Paul, and her husband James Richard Perkes. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. There will be a time to share memories and stories of Dora from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Thursday August 3, 2017 at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home of Twin Falls, ID. Following will be a funeral service held The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Friday August 4, 2017 at 187 North Ash Street in Blackfoot, Idaho at 1:00 P.M.
