Norma Christine Rambo

Norma Christine Staley Rambo was born October 23, 1928 to parents Lillith Maria and Lester James Staley at Heyburn, Idaho. She had two brothers, John Staley and Ralph Edward, (deceased) three sisters, Ruth LaPriel Staley Hurd, Martha Marie Staley Daniels, and Dora Jean Staley Severson.

She attended Milner Elementary and Burley High School, where she graduated in 1946. She worked for Mountain Bell Telephone after graduating. In 1948 she married William J. Rambo. To this union was born Steven James Rambo (Jane), David Allan Rambo, Tammy Diane Rambo Vandyk (Dick), Keven Robert Rambo (Stacie). She worked at J.C. Penneys in Jerome, Id for many years and enjoyed painting the remodeled homes they lived in, gardening, quilting, cooking, the great outdoors, and first and foremost her family. She is survived by Steven, David, Tammy, Keven, 12 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren.

The entire Rambo family would like to sincerely thank the staff of the 3rd floor; the Intensive Care Unit & those of the Emergency Medical Team at St. Luke’s Magic Valley Hospital; the staff at Bridgeview Rehabilitation, for the care and kindness given to our mother. We’d also like to give a special thanks to all those at Encompass Home Health and Hospice for their heart felt care and wonderful compassion our mother and family greatly appreciated it.

There will be a graveside funeral service for Norma Christine Staley Rambo under the direction of Parke’s Magic Valley Funeral Home July 31st, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
