Leland (Lee) was born in CA on October 18, 1937 to Nera and Fred Alexander.
He attended schools and graduated from San Juan HS in Citrus Heights CA.
In November 1962, he married the love of his life Patricia (Pat) Backman. Lee
brought 4 boys-Michael, Patrick, Harold Eugene, and Jeffrey to the
marriage. In June 1963, they welcomed Mark into the world and moved to
Filer in 1972.
Lee worked in the communications industry his entire career
and retired from Filer Mutual Telephone.
After retirement, Lee and Pat spent many winters in Yuma, AZ where they
explored the area and enjoyed the warm winters. They spent summers in
Filer, creating a beautiful setting at the Alexander’s Barn and Orchard.
Lee loved making cider with the church families. They had a trip of their
lifetime when they traveled to South Africa.
Leland was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Michael Alexander.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia, son Mark (Denise) of Filer, sons
Patrick, Harold, and Jeffrey of CA.
A Celebration of Leland’s life will be held Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the Twin Falls Reformed Church 1631 Grandview Dr. N. Twin Falls, Idaho.
