Kenneth Lee Mills, 76, passed away peacefully with loving family by his side on July 17, 2017.
Ken was born in Fayetteville, Arkansas to James Henry Mills and Anna Cleta Mills on June 6, 1941. The family moved Fullerton, California when he was 6 years old. He graduated from Buena Park High School in 1959.
Ken married Nancy Copeland in 1961 and they had a son, Derek. They were later divorced. Ken married Ruth Sheldon in 1968 and added 3 more children, Jennifer, Julie, and Tim. They lost Ruth to cancer in 1983. Ken married Beth Miller in 1995.
Ken was an outdoorsman at heart. He loved fishing and hunting with his children, grandchildren and buddies. Because of his outgoing nature, he never met a stranger. He could strike up a conversation with anyone. Ken had a very humorous personality and could tell stories with the best of them.
Ken held many different jobs during his life. Just to name a few, Fed-Ex, UPS, Car Salesman, Truck Dispatcher, and was working part time at Interpath Labs at the time of his passing.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents James and Cleta Mills, his brother Jim Mills, and step daughter Kim Miller. He is survived by his loving wife, Beth Mills, his sister Carolyn (Buster) Satterfield of Beaverton, Oregon and his children. Son Derek (Kerry) Hampton of Ontario, California. Daughter Jennifer (Brad) Knigge of Waukeshaw, Wisconsin. Daughter Julie (Ted) Ainsworth of Windsor, Colorado. Son Tim (Tina) Mills of Hendersonville, Tennessee. Step Daughter Brenda Miller (Wade Campbell) of Kimberly, Idaho. Step Daughter Toni Miller (Roger Duffin) of Murtaugh, Idaho. 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and another one on the way. He also has numerous nieces and nephews.
A Viewing and Celebration of Life will be held for friends and family on Friday July 28, 2017 from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Parkes Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Rd. Those who wish may share memories and condolences on his memorial page at www.magicvalleyfuneralhome.com
