John Pearson

John Earl Pearson, age 72, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed at his oldest son’s house, John Pearson Jr’s residence surrounded by his family on July 15, 2017, of complications from his chronic pulmonary issues.

John was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on March 10, 1945, to Jesse Pearson and Naomi Blake. He graduated from Redding High School. He served our country in the Navy as a BM1 First Class for 20 years and he completed another ten years in the Navy reserve.

John and his first wife, Brenda Lee had two sons John Pearson Jr. and Michael Pearson. Brenda Lee passed away at 22 years. John then met his future wife Teresita Yabanez in Honolulu, Hawaii in 1979. John was a man of all trades. He had a lifelong interest in auto mechanics, micromax rope braiding and building beautiful furniture.

John was survived by his wife Teresita Pearson of Poulsbo, Washington; oldest son John Pearson Jr. Kimberly, Idaho; son Michael Pearson Etuka, Oklahoma; daughter Jenny Duenas Port Orchard Washington; son A.J. Pearson Poulsbo, Washington; eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
