Donna Faye Blume, 78, of Twin Falls, passed away July 2, 2017 at the Twin Falls Care Center in Twin Falls. She was born on May 19, 1939 in Clovis, New Mexico, the daughter of Burdett and Willie Fay Robertson Wallace.
She attended school in Clovis for her first year of school, the then family moved in 1947 to Aztec, New Mexico. Donna assisted her father in milking cows and driving tractor while he sprayed the Apple orchards all over Aztec.
On April 3, 1956 she married Vincent Walter Blume. Together they had three children – Myron Clark, Palma Renee and Vincent Walter. Donna loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She worked as a loan officer at a bank, and owned and operated a pilot car service in her later life. She greatly enjoyed the adventures the pilot car service offered her and her husband.
Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent, son Myron, and is survived by her two children, Palma and Vincent Jr. , along with four grandchildren – Sonya Lynn, Joshua Derek, Cassie Marie, Ali Breana, and Nine great grandchildren – Dantae, Keaton, Harmony, Lily, Aspen, Ayden, Elias, Liam and Ella. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A celebration of Donna’s life will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at 6 PM at Parke’s Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Rd. in Twin Falls.
