Mitchell Kurt Stewart, of St. George, Utah, formerly of Twin Falls, Idaho passed away
May 9, 2017 at his home in St. George.
Our son, Mitchell Kurt Stewart, age 24 was born on October 27, 1992 in the city of Twin Falls. The last warm day of that year.
Mitchell’s school days were Preschool and Kindergarten at Agape, first-fifth at Morningside, sixth at Sawtooth, then O'Leary Junior High, and Twin Falls High School where he graduated in 2011. He then enrolled in the College of Southern Idaho. Mitchell was one of the first graduates in the Physical Therapy Assistant Program at CSI. While at CSI, he earned two Associated degrees. He worked at Encompass Home Health in Twin Falls and in St George.
He loved many outdoor activities including skiing, snowboarding, backpacking, Frisbee golf, kayaking, watching his favorite team, the Boston Red Sox play and he recently started to enjoy golf!
To all who knew Mitchell, he had the warmest, friendliest smile. He lit the room up and always made other people feel happy. He truly was an impressionable young man. He was a joy to all his family and friends.
He accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and is currently residing in his Heavenly Home. We will miss him and will get to see him again. He will never be forgotten and all that knew him were touched by his life.
Mitchell leaves behind his father and mother, Kurt and Kirsten Stewart and two brothers, Jared Stewart, and Heath Stewart. His maternal grandfather, A. Lacy Johnson, many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
