Nancy J. Kluever, age 80, of Twin Falls, Idaho, formerly from Madison, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully March 23, 2017 at Bridgeview Estates following a series of medical issues.
Nancy was born on August 31, 1936 in West Lima, Wisconsin to Harold and Lela Reynolds. She was raised by Evan and Dolly Lowrey, who she considered to be her parents. They had four boys – Evan Jr., Leo, Gordon, and Robert- who she called her brothers.
Nancy married Donald Noel Geiser and had two children – Marc and Gail. She later divorced and remarried Thomas Roger Kluever (later divorced) and had two sons – Paul and Troy. Troy has a son, Tyler who is her only grandchild.
After years of motherhood, Nancy worked as a secretary for the Dean of Students for the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin until her retirement.
In addition to her love for her children and grandson, Nancy loved cats, watching birds and squirrels from a window seat, and her beloved Badgers and Packers. Nancy was a breast cancer survivor. She had a fascination for butterflies and had a Monarch butterfly tattoo etched following her surgery. She even released a dozen Monarchs at her son Marc’s (Jodie) wedding celebration.
She was preceded in passing by her parents, her brothers, and her daughter Gail and her husband Richard Jensen. She is survived by her sons Marc (Jodie) of Twin Falls, Paul (Jade) of Lecanto, Florida, and Troy (Marie) of Madison, and her grandson Tyler and a host of nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held on Monday, March 27, 2017 from 6:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Rd. in Twin Falls. Funeral services will begin at 6:30 P.M. following the visitation. Private burial will take place at the Twin Falls Cemetery
