Myron Reed

Merlin Myron Reed   Myron Reed, loving father, son, brother and friend passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2017. He was born September 27, 1944, to Merlin and Margie Reed in Twin Falls, Idaho. He lived his entire life in Twin Falls with a short period in California.    Myron married Carolyn Martin in 1964 and they had two daughters. They later divorced.    Myron was hard-working with a strong work ethic and had many different types of jobs.  He was a mechanic above all else and always had a Corvette on his mind--he owned many in his life. He built a 1929 Ford Coupe into a very cool hot rod, and many will remember seeing that bright yellow car around town and in car shows. He enjoyed traveling to car shows in Wells and Wendover, Nevada, with his very best friends, Rick and Kathy Roy.    He enjoyed his life to the fullest, owned many cars, boats, and motorcycles had great memorable times with friends and family. He was  loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him.   He is survived by his mother Margie Gobel of Twin Falls, daughters, Lynda (Mark) Gepner of Kailua-Kona of Hawaii and Rhonda (Randy) Raymond of Caldwell,  sister, Linda Morrison of Boise,  grandsons, Chad Gepner,  Kasey and Drew Rienstra all of Caldwell, step-daughter, Cheri Hicks of Hailey of Idaho, a niece - Shelley and nephew - Randy, an uncle and aunt and many cousins.    Services will be April 5th, 2017 at 1:00P.M. at Parke’s Magic Valley Funeral Home, Twin Falls, Idaho.   Those wishing to share memories and condolences of Myron’s life may do so on Myron’s memorial webpage at www.magicvalleyfuneralhome.com.
