Lee Roy “Cotton” Crumbliss, age 84 of Twin Falls, Idaho passed away peacefully on January 31, 2017. 

Cotton was born April 30, 1932 in Neosho, MO to Ernest and Cecil Crumbliss.  He was the sixth of nine children.

In 1951, Cotton married Doris Still. To this union, they welcomed Kerry, Karen and Gayle Ann. They later divorced and Cotton married Glenda Peterson – Owens in December 1971. This marriage completed their family with daughter, Kandee.

Cotton was involved in several business ventures. When opportunities presented, he never shied away from realizing his dream. First with his brother, Ray in Crumbliss Brothers Inc., pioneering the bulk tank milk routes in the Magic Valley area. Then venturing on to a partnership with Orlan Stearns at Twin Falls Truck and Equipment.

Cotton was an active member of the Twin Falls community and with the Twin Falls Elks Lodge.  He and Glenda were able to enjoy many trips across the country on their motorcycles with many dear friends.

In retirement, they enjoyed motorhome travels and their home in Arizona in winter. Later choosing to stay home, in Twin Falls and enjoy their beautiful flower gardens, pond and waterfalls and their special companions Scooter, McDuff and Digger.

Cotton was preceded in death by his wife, Glenda Crumbliss, his son, Kerry Crumbliss, daughters, Karen McCulloch and Gayle Ann Crumbliss (stillborn); His parents, Ernest and Cecil Crumbliss, siblings, Paul Crumbliss, Fern Lucas, Freda Ann “Billie” Lawrence, Norma June Childress, Ray Crumbliss, Tommy Crumbliss and Sandra Wallen.

He is survived by his daughter, Kandee (Bruce) Schulz, grandchildren, Tiffany (Bill) Wentworth, Dustin Crumbliss, Micah McCulloch, great-grandson, Caiden Lee Wentworth, sister, Barbara Bower, son-in-law Patrick McCulloch and his aunt, Lena Faye (August)Yakel.

The family respectfully requests that memorials in his name be given to the Humane Society/Animal Shelter of your choice or the Elks Rehabilitation Hospital 2475 S. Apple Street #200 Boise, Idaho 83706

Visitation for Cotton will be held Monday, February 6, 2017 from 5 to 7 PM at Parke’s Magic Valley Funeral Home 2551 Kimberly Rd. Twin Falls, Idaho.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with burial following at Sunset Memorial Park in Twin Falls, Idaho.
