Stanley Dan Heyler, 71 of Eden, ID passed away on January 28, 2017 at home. He was born and raised in Redding, California. His parents were Harry and Shirley Heyler. He joined the U.S. Army in 1962 and served honorably until 1968 when he was discharged.
After he was discharged he became an apprentice chef. He worked in various restaurants and hotels. While working at Cactus Petes in Jackpot, NV he met and married Denise. They were married from June 16, 1984 until his death on January 28, 2017.
They loved going to gun shows and go shooting with friends or just each other. They loved spending as much time together as they could. They were each other's best friend.
Dan was retired, but worked part time for Banyon Technology in maintenance, it was a job he enjoyed very much.
He was preceded in death by his son Robert Heyler and his parents. He is survived by his wife Denise Heyler, and their 3 daughters Cathy Jumper, Michael Dawn Martinez (Ron Martinez) and Angalena Coonce (Rob Coonce). They have 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren along with sister-in-laws - Trudy (Chuck) Knopp, Jodi (Rodger) Allred, brother-in-law, Mike (Alyce) Wolf. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
At his request private family services were held. Arrangements were under the direction of Parke’s Magic Valley Funeral Home of Twin Falls.
