Anthony Joseph Raffaelli, “Tony”, 59, of Twin Falls, ID, passed away peacefully in his sleep after suffering a long battle with cancer on Friday, January 20, 2017. He was surrounded by his companion and lifelong friend of more than 40 years, Vickie Thompson, and his beloved cattle dog, Annie.
Tony is survived by his five children; Patricia Simon and her husband Marc, of CT, Anthony Raffaelli and his wife Michelle, of ID, Eliza Barreto and her husband James, of CA, Leah Vierra, of NV, and Krista Raffaelli, of WY.
Tony was very proud of his 13 grandchildren whom he is also survived by. They are April Simon, Lily Simon, Chad Simon, Aaron Simon, Nathan Simon, Avalon Raffaelli, Aziza Begic, Arealyah Raffaelli, Alliyah Raffaelli, Illeanna Bushberg, Alexandra Nazaroff, John Nazaroff Jr., and Aaron Wesley.
Tony is also survived by his brother, Lee Raffaelli, of CA, and his sister, Kimberly Boneschans, of IA. He is preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Forslund, his father, Leroy Raffaelli, and his brother, John Raffaelli.
Tony was born on October 20, 1957 in San Francisco, CA. He graduated high school and served in the Army for four years. Tony went on to further pursue a degree in Fine Arts and Music from Wyoming College. In his past time, Tony loved to ride motorcycles and was an active member and ambassador for Brothers in Christ Christian Motorcycle Ministry in Southern Idaho, and he also enjoyed racing cars. Tony was accomplished in art and music, and he loved to play guitar with his son. Tony is best known for his subtle charm and easy going fast talking ways. He loved being a car salesman and received many awards for it. Tony is also known for his love for expensive suits, fine Italian leather shoes, and luxurious watches. In his free time, Tony enjoyed riding horses and playing fetch with his cattle dog.
A viewing is scheduled for Friday, January 27th from 6-8 pm at Parke's Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Rd. in Twin Falls. His funeral is scheduled for Saturday, January 28th at 11:00 am, with a reception to follow at The Brothers in Christ Motorcycle Church, 123 K Street, Rupert, Idaho.
