Patricia Jarolimek

March 31, 1941 — December 18, 2016

FILER – The legacy of Patricia Ann Jarolimek will be love for family, faith in God, silliness, and sincere consideration for others. She shared with everyone a glowing smile, which will never be forgotten.

On the morning of Sunday, Dec. 18, 2016, Patty went to heaven at the age of 75 after passing away from cancer.  Her favorite time of the year was Christmas.

On March 31, 1941, Patty was born in Twin Falls, Idaho; her parents were Leo and Josephine Malberg. Her parents and two brothers, Corky Malberg and Joe Malberg, preceded her in death.

Patty dearly loved her family. When her family was young, she was a devoted stay-at-home Mom.  In 1975, she started working as a checker at the local grocery store in Filer where she worked for 36 years.  Mom loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchild. Patty was a devoted Catholic.

Dennis, her “Hunk” and lifelong husband of 56 years, cherished their times together. They enjoyed going to their kids’ and grandkids’ school sporting events, camping, roasting hot dogs around a campfire, and riding motorcycles in the mountains. If you ever visit the Jarolimek residence, you will notice bears, including pictures and figurines.  Story be told, Mom and Dad were riding up North on a trail and a big black bear decided to stop in front of Mom. The bear stood up on its hind legs, took a look at her, and then Dennis quickly scared off the bear.   Ever since, Dennis gave her a special bear gift each year.

She is survived by Dennis, her husband; her four children, ten grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Carrie Lammers (Mike) of Twin Falls, Idaho, their sons Justin, Garret, daughter Amy, and great grandchild, Ryanne Lammers (Garret & Natalie); Tammy Schwartz (Thomas) of Meridian, Idaho, their son Teigon; Greg Jarolimek (Terrie) of Filer, Idaho, their daughters Jenna, Kelsie, and son Austin; Pattie Hamilton (Logan) of Vale, Oregon, their daughters Tessa, Abby, and son Tanner. Two Sisters Anita Parrott of Twin Falls, Idaho,  Mary Spiers of Hansen, Idaho, and One Brother Leo Malberg of Buhl, Idaho.

A memorial mass will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 03, at St. Edward’s Catholic Church in Twin Falls. Family and friends are invited to attend. A luncheon and special slide show will follow at St. Edward’s parish hall.

All services and arrangements are under the direction of Parke’s Magic Valley Funeral Home & Crematory of Twin Falls, Idaho.  Those wishing to share memories and condolences may do so on Patricia’s memorial webpage at www.magicvalleyfuneralhome.com.
