Rosanna Dell Ginn

February 15, 1957 — November 28, 2016

Rosanna Dell Ginn, 59, of Jerome, joined her family in Heaven on November 28, 2016.  She passed away at the University of Utah Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah after a late night/ early morning last effort to find a medical facility that would provide her with appropriate treatment.

She was born Rosanna Dell Wallers on February 15th, 1957 in Redding, California.  She was the daughter of Joyce Yingst.  She grew up in California and Idaho.  In 1975 she graduated from Buhl High School.  She then attended Judson Baptist College in Portland, Oregon.  She spent much of her time working with special needs children and adults.  She also worked as a CNA while living in Boise.  While her grandmother was at the end of her life, she provided care for her and held her hand as she took her last breath before greeting and leaving with Jesus and the angels. That was a moment mom discussed with me many times.

In November of 1982 she married Franklin T. Ginn in Reno, Nevada.

While living in Florida she owned and operated her own successful graphics arts design business called Rose’s Graphics.  When she moved to Idaho in ’89 she began doing graphic layout for several newspapers including the Idaho Statesman in Boise and the Buhl Herald.  She could design, layout and print all of the graphics using coding on their new computerized systems back when there were no monitors to edit her work.  She worked for Bliss Valley Growers for many years, in office and delivering mushrooms from Bliss to Boise nearly every day.  At which point she went back to school at Boise State University to pursue her interests in Social Work.  She volunteered with UCPI (United Cerebral Palsy of Idaho), help with fundraisers for children and adults in need, and personally helped everyone she met that had any type of need in their life, be it food, clothing, emotional support or advice.  After Bliss Valley closed down she sold cellular phones for Edge Wireless.  Then she worked for an in-home service in Twin Falls.  After parting with that company she felt called to open her own where she could provide care of not only the clients, but also the caregivers that would work for her.  She had two business partners, Joyce Yingst and Diane Hobbs.  She was the active Owner/Administrator of Accomplishments In-Home Services, LLC up to the very unexpected end.

Rose loved her family, her friends, her pets including Boobie, her Chihuahua that passed 5 years before her and Pixee, her Chihuahua that survives her.  She enjoyed taking family trips to the Oregon Coast, specifically Cannon Beach.  Nothing refreshed her more than a walk on the beach or a visit to the local Hot Springs.  She enjoyed mowing the lawn, gardening, and anything outdoors.  She was a builder and remodeler.  If something around the house needed fixed or if we needed an additional room added, she was the one for the job. She enjoyed sewing, photography, painting, playing music, singing and many other arts.  She would get out her guitar, when she had time, to play with her granddaughters.  She was beginning to teach Jackie how to play a Ukulele she had gotten her.  Eva would dance as they played.

Rose was known for her strong FAITH.  She is a Christian, though she was not a regular church goer.  However, her relationship with and love of God was ever evident.  To her last day she found comfort in knowing that when the time came, she would be going Home.  That she would be able to see her sister Jackie, her grandmother Edith, sister-in-laws Mettie & Eva, brother-in-law Scotty, furry family Nikki & Boobie, and many other relatives and friends that had passed before her.

Rose was also known for her big heart.  She gave love, prayed for, and helped everyone she met.  While we all miss her infectious laughter, the warmth we felt when she smiled, and the compassion we saw in her beautiful blue eyes, it warms our hearts to know that even in death this love and care will be passed on.  She had chosen to be a DONOR on her driver’s license.  Her eyes will be able to provide opportunities for other people, as she no longer needs them to watch over all of us.

Surviving Rose, is her daughter Jennifer J Ginn-Bennett, her granddaughters EvaMay Christine Ginn & Jacqueline Rosanna Ginn, her husband Franklin T Ginn, her mother Joyce Yingst, her brother Gilbert H Wallers, her nieces Harmony Redmond (Liam & Gavin) & Amber Wallers (Clinton), her nephews Kit Wallers (Kenzie, Devin & Coby), Gabriel Wallers (Major & Geri) & Christopher Koons, her sister Debi Gier, her niece Christie, her nephew Terry Gier, her stepsons Dewayne Ginn (Tempy & Hayden) & Mike Ivy.

Rosanna’s Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 9th, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Rd. in Twin Falls.

Please know that your presence and or prayers are all we ask.  Gifts are not needed.  We just want everyone to come celebrate the love and laughter she brought into this world for all who met her!  However, if you want to send or bring something, please refrain from cut flowers.  She would have preferred a potted flower that would not wither for the sake of her service. Or something for her granddaughters.
