Victor Warren said goodbye to the cats and peacefully passed away on October 23, 2016 at his home in Filer. Vic was the youngest of a “Slug” of kids born in Nebraska. His family moved to Washington during the depression.
He joined the Navy in 1943 and served in combat as a radioman on a TBM. After the war, he chose unwisely and became a logger. He married Irene and had three kids. He worked several trades and retired near Filer. In his later years he was generally quiet and unassuming, having mellowed considerably.
Surviving are his cats – “Dipstick” and “U”, along with various other family members.
A memorial service will be held in Mossyrock, Washington at a later date. Those who wish may make memorial contributions the Hardluck Hounds and Friends, 3735 N. 2200 E. Filer, ID 83328.
Cremation and services were under the caring direction of Parke’s Magic Valley Funeral Home of Twin Falls. Those who wish may share memories and condolences on his memorial page at www.magicvalleyfuneralhome.com
