So long, until we see you once more, our wonderful big brother, brother in law, son, father, grandfather, cousin, uncle, friend.
Larry Wayne Murphy departed this world for heaven on 10-16-16. He leaves behind a son, Wesley Lincoln Murphy, daughters and daughter in law: Shelly Nellis, Kelly Magee, Misty Dawn Hyde and Debbie Murphy. He loved all of his grandkids: Belinda Garza, Bradi Armstrong, Michyla Hyde, Kenna Hyde, Tanner Murphy, Amber and Thomas Frost and great grandkids: Witten Garza, Olivia Fox, Max and Molly Frost. He is also survived by brother, Phillip Murphy (Pam) of Hansen, Idaho; sister, Jan Freeman (Barry) of Denison, Texas, also sister in law, Tracy Murphy of Texas. With many nephews, nieces and cousins. He leaves behind many cousins who love him as much as we all do. He also leaves behind one uncle, Elmer Green and one aunt, Minnie Bartlett.
Larry loved gardening and excelled in it. He had a loving and giving heart as big as he was. He also loved movies and shared many of these with family and friends. And he never missed a chance to play the lottery.
Larry was a federal meat inspector for USDA for most of his working life. That job took him to many places: Clovis, New Mexico; Ft. Morgan, Colorado; Baker, Oregon; Dumas, Texas; Roswell, New Mexico, Phoenix, Arizona, Tucson, Arizona; Las Vegas, Nevada; and then onto Idaho where he retired. Larry loved being in Idaho and being close to his brother Phil and sister in law Pam. The three of them formed a breakfast club in that every Saturday morning come rain or shine, for the better part of 15 years. Idaho Joe's will not be the same without him.
As young brothers and sisters we fought but always remained friends. Our lives will be emptier here as we cannot physical see you, but we carry you in our hearts forever and we will see you again. Go in peace, Larry. We love you.
