Geraldine "Gerri" Scofield

Geraldine “Gerrie” Scofield, age 90, passed peacefully in the early morning hours
of September 21, 2016.   She was a long time resident of Bayville, New York.
She was born in Corona, New York the daughter of the late Gennaro and Lucy Miraglia. 
Gerri married Richard Scofield on June 2, 1946 in New York City.
She and Richard spent many winters and time in Margate and Del Ray Beach, Florida and thoroughly enjoyed their lives together.  Her last years were spent living in Mission Viejo, California. 

She was preceded in death 2007 by the love of her life, her husband and partner of 61 years, Richard. 
She was the beloved mother of her son Kevin and daughter Judith (Tom) Walling.  She is predeceased by her sister whom she adored, Mary “Sis” Buonfiglio.   She is also survived by many loving relatives and friends.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent in her name to St. Jude’s Children Foundation or Denver Dumb Friends (Animal) League.

Entombment was held Thursday, September 29, 2016 at Ferncliff Cemetery, Hartsdale, New York.

All services and arrangements were under the direction of Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home of Twin Falls, Idaho.
