Donald LaMar Trujillo, 79, of Kimberly, ID peacefully entered into eternal life in Twin Falls surrounded by his family Saturday, September 17th, 2016. Don was born in Vernal, UT on May 19th, 1937 to James Henry Trujillo and Eva Ardella Boren. He graduated from Uintah High School and later attended Weber State University. He honorably served his country in the US Navy for 20 years, taking him to exotic places around the world and all over the United States. He loved sports and enjoyed competing on a bowling league. Don was married to Kathleen Greenly shortly after High School. They are the parents of Katrina Marie, Raymond Alan, Pamela, and Donald LaMar Jr. Later, He married the love of his life - Beryl Merkley, for time and all eternity in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Salt Lake Temple on April 12th, 1972. They are the parents of Kristy Lynn, Gregory Donald, Bart James, Nathan LaMar, Jonathan LaMar and Darcie Maria. Don enjoyed watching and participating in his children and grandchildren's upbringing. He loved to tell them stories of the many adventures he had as a younger man. His strong work ethic passed on to his children, creating a lasting impression on all who knew him and his children. Enforcing the work before play mentality, he ensured his legacy lives on, helping his posterity to become leaders in all aspects of life. He loved to hunt, camp, fish and play cards with his family, a memory his children will always cherish. He loved spending time outdoors, as long as his family was with him. Don is survived by his wife Beryl and their children: Greg (Jan) Trujillo, Kristy (Glenn) Davidson, Bart, Nathan (Katie), Jonathan and Darcie. He is also survived by Katrina Sprague, Raymond, Donald Jr, his sisters Donna McKowen, Inez Trujillo and his brother Alan Trujillo along with several beautiful and loving grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter Pamela, his parents James and Eva, his brothers Jerrold and Roger as well as his sisters Ramelda and Ardella. A funeral and viewing will be held at the Kimberly, Idaho LDS Stake Center Thursday, September 22nd at 1:00 pm. A visitation was held at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home on September 21st for family and friends.
