Edward Charles Newman

Edward Charles Newman, of Twin Falls, passed away September 1, 2016 in Twin Falls, Idaho. He was born March 11, 1939 in Rigby, Idaho to Mildred and Kirby Newman.

Ed enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served his country for 20 years, including two tours in Vietnam. He was honorably discharged in 1976, retiring to Twin Falls, Idaho.

Ed was married to his beautiful wife, Virginia (Ginger) in July 1962 and they enjoyed one another's company for 42 years. To this union were born two sons, Delbert & Kirby.

Surviving Ed is his oldest son, Delbert and grandson, Kyle. Brothers, Ray, John and Weldon and sisters, Shirley Sheets, Barbara Jensen and Debbie Maxfield. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mildred and Kirby, his lovely wife, Ginger, his son, Kirby; brothers, Kirby, Jr.; Delbert; George; Joe; Dave and his sisters, Loretta; Peggy and Delores.

There were many years of fishing, camping, hunting and just enjoying being with family.

At his request there will be no services held. Cremation and Private Inurnment are under the direction of Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home of Twin Falls, ID.
