Jackie Kay Higgs

June 22, 1951 — August 30, 2016

Jackie Kay Higgs (Phillips) age 65, passed away August 30, 2016 surrounded by family and friends after a long illness. She was born in Wendell, Idaho June 22, 1951 to Merle and Doris Phillips (Hopper) and resided in Twin Falls until her death.

She married Kenneth Cordle and together they had Tammy Renae  Rodriguez (Cordle). Jackie loved camping, fishing, yard-sailing and spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jackie is survived by her best friend and love of her life Terry Thieme, her daughter Tammy (Greg Barreto), three grandchildren Andrew, Mariah, MaKayla, and two great-grandchildren, Mia and McKinnley, three sisters Lorene (Richard), Linda (Joe), Debbie (Don), her nieces Lotte (Ron), LaLanne (Steve), Jodie (Sean), and her nephew John. She was preceded in death by her parents Merle and Doris Phillips, her baby brother, Harry & niece Loree Ann. 

A special thanks to Pastor Mike Seward and to St. Luke's Magic Valley Hospital for making her comfortable during her last days.  

A celebration of Jackie's life will be held September 10th at 11 am at First Christian Church 601 Shoshone St. North. Twin Falls, lead by Pastor Mike Seward.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her name to Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home to help with arrangements or the ALS Association:
