Elizabeth Kathleen Jones

Elizabeth Kathleen Jones, 63 years old of Twin Falls, Idaho passed away May 4, 2016 at her home in her husband’s arms while she was outside gardening. Kathy was a strong woman who fought a good fight with pulmonary hypertension for 10 years.

Kathy was born in Visalia, California, June 21, 1952 to Sam and Ruby Davis.  She graduated from Redwood high school in Visalia, California and attended some college.

Kathy met her future husband in Anchorage, Alaska. They were later married on February 8, 1971 in Kenai, Alaska.

Kathy enjoy being outdoors camping, hunting and sitting around the campfire with friends and family. She also enjoyed quilting, sewing and gardening. She created many beautiful quilts and blankets, the people will treasure for life. She had a big heart and loved animals; she loved taking her grandkids to the animal shelter to walk the dogs. She worked as a secretary, bookkeeper most of her life

Her father, mother, father-in-law, sister and stepdaughter preceded her in death. She is survived by the love of her life, Garrel Jones of Twin Falls, son Gary (Sarah) of Twin Falls, Idaho, stepdaughter, Tiffany (Jabin) of Ogden, Utah, nine grandchildren she adored and two great-grandchildren.

Cremation is completed at this time. A Celebration of Life BBQ will be held on June 18, 2016 in the evening. We will have more details at a later date and let people know.
