Ray M. Carroll

Ray M. Carroll, 70, of Twin Falls, passed away April 18, 2016 in Twin Falls. He was born on September 28, 1945 in Ogden, Utah, the son of Virginia and Peter J. Carroll.

 

He graduated from Ogden High School, class of 1963 and went on to attended Weber State University, studied abroad in Guadalajara, Mexico for a year, and graduated from WSU with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work. Ray was a true entrepreneur, enjoying numerous business ventures throughout his life. He was the owner of both a successful real estate and construction company. Ray had an appreciation for the finer things- most notably nice cars, great food and travel.  He enjoyed time spent sailing and even earned his pilot’s license so he could fly. 

 

Ray resided most of his life in Ogden, Utah; Lynnwood, Washington and Twin Falls, Idaho. Ray will be remembered for his determination, strong work ethic and a great sense of humor that enabled him to make light of life's challenges. He loved laughing with his friends and spending time with his family.

 

He is survived by his wife, Josephine Padilla Carroll; son, Corey A. Carroll; daughter, Kirsten Tucker Koomen; son-in-law Pieter Koomen and two grandchildren, Tanner Matthew Tucker and Addisen Tucker and his dogs Nicky, Scott, Owen and Molly.

 

A celebration of life remembrance will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2015 from 2 – 5 P.M. at his home. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
