Richard William Tingey

Richard William Tingey returned to his Heavenly Father on February 8, 2016. He passed away from cancer.

Richard was born March 2, 1960 To Ella Louise Adrich and to Richard William Tingey, in Brigham City, Utah. Richard graduated from Box Elder High School in 1979. He excelled in wrestling and was affectionately nicknamed "Sweet Pea". He also graduated from ITT Technical College.

Richard was married to his sweetheart Bonnie Marie Baker on September 19, 1981 and they were sealed one year later for time and all eternity in the Logan LDS Temple.

He was employed at McCain which was formerly called Ore-Ida. He was also employed by HIlex-Poly for 5 years. He also did engineering work for Pro-West Engineering until his passing.

Richard and Bonnie were blessed with two wonderful sons Stephen (PA) and Patrick (Twin Falls) and eight delightful grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, his two sons, grandchildren, parents and siblings Danilyn Tingey (SLC, UT), Diana Tingey (SLC,UT), Leland Tingey (AL), and Sean (Ogden, UT). He has two siblings who preceded him in death and several nieces, nephews and several extended family members.

Funeral will be held on Friday, February 12, at 11:00 pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 824 Caswell Ave W, Twin Falls, ID 83301. There will also be a viewing on Friday at 10:00 am preceding the funeral.
