Marla Jo Heck, 44 of Twin Falls, left this earth Saturday, January 9, 2016
at home due to a long illness.

Marla came into the world in Gooding, Idaho on November 18, 1971 to James and Bonita Heck. Her brother Virgil James joined Marla in 1974. She lived in Twin Falls, then moved to Jerome and graduated from Jerome High School in 1990. Her smile at heart would light up any rooms she entered and making friends came naturally to her.

Marla loved to bake sweets, gardening and crocheting. Collecting frogs and playing pool were also favorite pastimes. She also loved to take care of animals. Marla had a heart of gold and would be first to offer help to anyone in need.

Marla will be remembered as a wonderful daughter, mom, sister, aunt, cousin and friend to all those who knew her. She will be greatly missed by all of us.

Surviving Marla is her parents James and Bonita Heck, her brother Virgil Heck, her two daughters Aubrey and Madison, and her son, Trayvin Howell. Also surviving her are many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Marla was preceded in death by her grandparents, James and Shirley Heck and grandparents, Virgil and Lorena Potter.

A Celebration of Marla’s life will be held Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Parke’s Magic Valley Funeral Home 2551 Kimberly Rd., Twin Falls.
