Lyle Russell Webb

August 3, 1930 - December 28, 2015

Lyle Russell Webb, 85 of Filer, Idaho passed away December 28, 2015 at his home after battling cancer.

Russell was born to Blaine W and Goldie I. (Caldwell) Webb in Murtaugh, Idaho.  He served in the United States Army Corps during the Korean War and received a Purple Heart.

In 1955, he married Adine (Mickey) Ellsworth, and they divorced after 22 years.  To this union were born three children.  Mickey and Lyle remained close friends until Mickey’s passing in 2008.

In 1993, after 45 years of dedicated service he retired from the Sugar Factory. During this time he also farmed.

 Lyle never met anyone that wasn’t a friend, and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Surviving Lyle is his brother, Lamarr Webb, sisters, Dolores Brehms, Charlene Reece, Kayanne Edwards, Cecille Griffith and Judy Boyd.  Also surviving are his children, son, Danny (Pam) Webb, daughters, Colleen (Brad) Brennen and Kathleen Moore, eight grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Lyle will be held January 7, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Parke’s Magic Valley Funeral Home 2551 Kimberly Rd., Twin Falls, ID. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 from 5 to 7 PM at the funeral home.  Interment will follow services at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Twin Falls, Idaho.
