Belva Pearl Blackham Coval was born in Maroni, Utah and shortly thereafter moved to Castleford, ID. She graduated from Albion State Normal School and was a teacher until she married Jack Harwood Coval in December 1947. 
They were married for 67 years. Belva was a world traveler living in both Europe and Asia raising her children. 

She valued family above all else and move back to Twin Falls County in 1979. She remained here next to her sisters and mother.

Belva love to bowl and was quite active onto local leagues until she passed away. Belva was very sure of her own wants and throughout her life insisted on living her own way, conventional or not. Her family and friends were loved and cherished.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Laura ( McBride) and Morley Blackham, her husband Jack, her daughter Jan, and her son Scott.

Surviving Belva is her son Douglas of Fallon, Nevada; five grandsons and six great-grandchildren.

A memorial service is being planned for this summer.
