Patricia (Patty) Ann Cogswell, 80, of Twin Falls, passed away October 29, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Twin Falls, Idaho on January 13, 1935, the daughter of Lawrence A. and M. Beth Bell. She and her family moved from Buhl to Twin Falls, where Patty attended school, graduating from Twin Falls High School in 1953. Following her graduation she married Ronald T. Cogswell on July 12, 1953. They shared 62 wonderful years of marriage. While Ron was stateside serving his country in the US Army, Patty traveled with him. After returning to Twin Falls, their first son Dennis was born. He was followed by sons Gary and Doug, Brad was born while the family lived in Boise. Pat loved camping, trail bike riding and snowmobiling. She and her friends in the snowmobile clubs enjoyed many adventures snowmobiling throughout the West. Later, as members of the Gold Wing Rider's Association, she and Ron enjoyed going on Goldwing trips with Jim and Carol Sharp. Ron and Pat were instrumental in starting the Twin Falls County Sheriffs Search and Rescue in 1977 of which Ron's still an active member. She was a member of the Women of The Moose, where she held many Local, State and National Offices. Being a recipient of a Kidney Transplant, Pat always wanted to further the cause of transplantation. She often was a wealth of encouragement and support to those waiting to receive a transplant or those who had received their organ. Surviving Pat is her husband of 62 years - Ron of Twin Falls, sons - Dennis of Twin Falls, Gary (Jeannette) of Filer, Douglas (Terri) of Kingston, WA, Brad of Twin Falls, her Brother,Ted (Julia) Bell, sister-in-law, Maria Alice Bell, three grandchildren,two great grandchildren, along with a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers- Bill and Ronald, and a grandson Andrew Cogswell. Pat will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Friends may call on Thursday, November 5, 2015 from 5 - 7 P.M. at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Rd in Twin Falls. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 6, 2015 at 10 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Twin Falls Cemetery.
