Evelyn (Ginger) Virginia Bymun passed away at St Luke's Magic Valley Hospital in Twin Falls. ID. on 10/08/2015 6 pm. at the age of 72. Evelyn Bymun is preceded in death by her parents, brothers David and Tommy Hartwell. Evelyn is lovingly remembered by her son Michael and wife Roxanne Bymun of Twin Falls, ID. Daughter Tracy and her husband Donald Thurlo of Buhl, ID. Grandchildren are Jonathan, Joshua, Jennifer, Jeremy and Kairee. The great grandchildren include Kaeli, Harli, Jackson, Evelyn, Jonathan and Artemis Alyce. Siblings include a sister Sue and husband Fred Zimmerman of Redding, Ca. brother Dennis and wife Kathy Hartwell of Winters, Ca. brother Randy and wife Gwen Hartwell of Idanah, OR. She has many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She will be sorely missed and loved by all. Evelyn was born May 31 1943 to Clay and Ruth Hartwell in Orlando Florida. When she was a small child the family moved to Fletcher, Ok. Where they raised cotton and peanuts. In 1952 after the farm failed they moved to Weed, Ca. she attended Weed Elementary and Weed Union High. It was there she met the love of her life Alva Bymun they married June 14, 1959 in Winters, Ca. They moved to Fremont, Ca. Where she finished her education and graduated. Later she attended classes at San Luis Obispo for floral design she opened her business called Flowers By Evelyn later she expanded to cake decorating. Arthritis affected her hands, she was no longer able to keep the business open. She became a secretary for L&L Nursery and worked there until she retired. Alva was a foreman at Ford Motor Company until the plant closed. They were happily married for 30 years until he passes away of cancer in 1989. Thirteen years later she met a new love Jerry Ferber of Fremont and was happy until Jerry passed away Feb.19, 2004 of cancer. He served in the United States Coast Guard and Retired as a machinist. Evelyn enjoyed cooking and watching loved one's open gifts. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, crocheting and made many beautiful handmade gifts. She had a beautiful yard. She enjoyed growing plants, feeding the squirrels and birds that visited her yard. A Celebration of Life will be held at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home 2551Kimberly Rd. Twin Falls ID. on Oct. 23, 2015 at 7pm. with Brian Parish officiating. A reception/wake will take place following the service.
