Willa May Reed Himple Jan 16, 1927 - Sept. 30, 2015 Willa May Himple, age 88, died peacefully on September 30, 2015 at St. Lukes Magic Valley in Twin Falls, Idaho. Willa was born in Paul, Idaho on January 16, 1927 to Willis and Nellie Reed. She lived In Paul and graduated from Paul High School in May 1941. She received a scholarship to Provo Vocational College in Utah for one year. Following her education there, she attended Multnomah School of the Bible, in Portland, Oregon. There, she met and married Kenneth Himple on September 29, 1950. She lived in several surrounding states and ended up in Twin Falls in 1967. They later divorced. Over the span of her life she was involved in 4H-being the secretary and running the 4H food booth at the fair for nine years; Christian Women's Club, Bible Study Fellowship, AWANA, and Wycliffe Bible Translators just to name a few. She was very giving of her time and loved to teach and help others. She also enjoyed oil painting, sewing, furniture refinishing, upholstery, reading, cooking, entertaining and crafts. Willa was very active at Twin Falls Reformed Church and its ministries until she was no longer able to do so. She had worked and volunteered at the Mustard Seed Thrift Store for 13 years, since its beginning. She loved working at the Mustard Seed and the fellowship of all the other workers there. Willa is survived by her four children: Carleen (Robin) Gregory; Larry (Darla) Himple; Bruce (Mary Ellen) Himple; Connie (Brian) Lancaster. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren, her brother Alva (Marie) Reed and her sister Maxine Fisher, along with many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one grandson. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 9, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at the Twin Falls Reformed Church.
